A walk in the forest

Last Sunday we took a family walk out in the forest down to the gully near our apartment...
Wulfgar has gotten bigger and loved it. We still have accidents though.

He is now 16.6 kgs and loves to say hi to other peep and dogs. His favorite place to sleep and play is on the balcony, because its cold and he likes it cold...

Woofy for short

When we first got Wulfgar he was afraid of everything especially the broom and vacuum cleaner.
Well not anymore...

He has learned he can bark... We where calling him Wulfie for short we now spell it Woofy.

We were having a lot of pee accidents and only poo accidents the first thing in the mourning. I read that a dog doesn't get his holding muscles until after 12 weeks, so we have been patient but firm. For the last two days we have had nearly no accidents.

Most of them are in the evening and I think it is because Fire doesn't take him out long enough.

(but I didn't say that)

Today we went by the Vet and scheduled for his Kennel Cough shot and standard physical.

He loves the balcony. He never wants to leave especially at night when it is so cold...

Coming home & home alone with Wulfgar

So his name is Farall Elan Wulfgar but we call him Wulfgar...


We got him around noon - mid-day on Sunday Jan 28th 2008... We filled out papers and payed and the Breeder, Katrin who was super nice gave us a starter kit...

It included a few goodies...

It was time for us to see our puppy... When she lifted him up I couldn't believe my eyes...
He is a monster....


Now before I post these pictures of him at his new home.. remember he is ONLY 10 weeks old...

Wulfgar traveled in the car just fine and his first night he only peed once




He is settling great though he is afraid of the stairs... He is too young to climb down or up so I have to carry him but he runs away from them when he sees them







He is also afraid of other people and dogs...

So today I have been home alone with Wulfgar. We went for a nice walk this morning and he saw a big sheep dog and was scared.

Then as he was having his lunch (and me to) he walks into the hallway and pees (oops)

So we went for another walk and there was an incident... As we were leaving he spotted another person with a cocker spaniel puppy. He began backing up, after the other puppy sniffed him he wanted to play and began jumping up and down but Wulfgar whined and ran in the door trying to get back in the apartment..

Everywhere everyone was walking their dog, a beautiful black lab, a shepherd and more he wouldn't go... He is afraid of people and animals ... He even ran from the Cats

(maybe because we watched Cats and Dogs with him last night, what you think?)

His training though is good... 4 times we had to cross a road... the first time I said sit (sat him) stay (made him stay) looked both ways for cars and then said come (and let him walk across...

The second street I said Sit (he sat ) I said stay (he stayed) and then waited for me to say come and cross (he got a snack)

coming back he did it again (another snack)

but the last road he forgot and I had to show him again

but I think for his first try that was good
