Rushed to the Vet

Taken April 23 -- 5 months old--

2am on Friday morning we were woken up with Wulfgar vomiting and pooping on himself. He barely would move and was breathing funny.

We called the Vet and was told not to give him water or food and watch him if he continues within the next two hours call again if not bring him in the morning.

At 4 am he had dry heaves and wasnt improving...

Since the night bus comes 1 time every hour we had to call a taxi
Fire carried him down and we went to the vet

He got 2 shots. The vet searched his throat for if he swallowed something

I told him I took away anything he could swallow and don't give him stuff like chicken bones
Now Wulfgar has never met a stick he didnt like so he does have that and the Vet said a splinter could have gotten sucked down into his lungs

So he stayed the night for tests and xrays

2pm he was still bad off and nothing had changed Finally at 5pm I could pick him up...
The vet gave him an antibiotic and some other pills. He has what in German is Mega Oesophagus Reguritation

Basically his esophagus is opening more than it should. After conferring to his comrades and specialist they have concluded that Wulfgar has a birth defect. He could out grow it but for 1 month he has to take these pills and has to have more X rays next month.

On our part we are softening his food with hot water ....

Yesterday we had to go into Zürich to buy him a new harness

He wasn't afraid of the trams this time and got on and off with no trouble...

Also from April 25th-May 4th Wulfgar had his first experience with home visitors
